  1. BIO

    Haylene matriculated in 2010 as the head girl of Bloemhof Girl’s High School in Stellenbosch and completed her post graduate B. Comm Hons. degree at the University of Potchefstroom. Haylene started her career in the financial industry at Platinum Life in 2014.

    As a passionate independent financial planner, Haylene’s purpose is to help individuals and companies who have achieved a high degree of professional success, understand their financial portfolio in order for them to prosper and experience financial freedom.

    Furthermore, Haylene loves life and enjoys good food & wine. She finds delight in DIY-projects as well as spending quality time with friends and family. She lives to add value to people’s lives and believes that it is never too early or too late to plan for the future.

  1. BIO

    Nikki has joined the financial services industry in 1989 and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the University of The Free State. She is a member of the Financial Planning Institute.

    She describes her role as a facilitator in assisting clients to set short, medium and long term goals that will allow them to measure their progress as they achieve their wealth creating objectives. Every client is treated as a unique individual and a holistic tailor-made plan is created based on their own specific circumstances and priorities.

    Living a balanced life is a priority for Nikki. If she is not working she enjoys traveling to some of South Africa’s less seen spots with her husband and two children.

    A fitness enthusiast, she enjoys early morning runs and believes that exercise and a healthy lifestyle keep the mind active and sharp.

  1. BIO

    Adriaan matriculated at Newcastle High School (Kwazulu Natal) in 1980.

    Adriaan started his career in the financial services industry in 1985 as a Broker Consultant for Sanlam.  He later moved to Absa Brokers and Absa Private bank in 1995 as a Financial Planner.  Twenty years later he decided to change career and follow his passion in the property industry.  Together with 2 other Partners they started up Cedar Lifestyle Group (Pty) Ltd.  Adriaan moved back into the Financial Services industry in 2011 and started with Kempston Insurance Brokers and a year later moved over to Succession Financial Planning and Advisory Services. Adriaan joined the BRISCH Wealth Managers family in September 2016.  

    Adriaan has a proven track record as a successful financial planner and regional manager of teams.  He is focused, driven, trustworthy and has strong management skills. His corestrengths are building and maintaining strong client relationships, managing the achievement of sales targets and ensures quality and compliance on any advice.

    Adriaan is married to Liezl and together they have 3 children.  Adriaan in his spare time loves cycling, running and game viewing.

  1. BIO

    Barry was born in Cape Town and matriculated at Queens High in Johannesburg.

    He started his career in the Life Assurance industry in 1968 with African Life.

    During the period of 1970 to 1986 Barry worked at MetLife and Legal and General as a Life Assurance Agent. He was then appointed as Branch Manager for National Mutual of Australasia.

    From 1986 to 1990 Barry joined Stanfin as a Bank Broker at Standard Bank of SA where he achieved a number of awards, to name a few, the 180 Club and the Sanlam SQF Diamond Award. Barry recently joined the BRISCH family after a 15 year stint as an Absa Bank Broker.

    Barry’s passion is his relationship with his customers and giving sound financial advice.

    Barry’s hobbies include photography, sailing, hiking and he has completed 2 Comrades Marathons in his younger day’s. Barry’s is in a wonderful relationship with Alda and her two stunning daughters.

  1. BIO

    Hennie matriculated at Linden High School in Johannesburg. He studied at the University of Free State doing the National Wealth Certificate and he also completed the RE exams.

    Hennie has been in the financial services industry for many years. He started at Sanlam Johannesburg performing various senior Management roles and he then moved to Absa Bank Broker Division as General Manager for Business Bank and Bankfin Commercial. In 2008, he was transferred to Cape Town, a year later he moved to Nedbank Business Bank as a Financial Planner. He subsequently joined the BRISCH family in May 2017.

    Hennie’s core strengths are business assurance, building and maintaining strong client relationships and managing the achievement of financial goals for his clients.

    Hennie is married to Frances and they have 2 children. In his spare time he loves travelling and the outdoors. He also enjoys woodwork as a hobby and loves spending time with the family.

  1. BIO

    Derick was born in East London and matriculated at JBM Hertzog High School Bloemfontein where he is currently situated. He studied architecture at the UFS. Derick worked as an accountant at SASKO and before entering the market as a Financial Adviser, he worked in the property market.

    In 2008 Derick decided to enter the financial industry at Liberty Life as a Financial Adviser and later moved to Old Mutual. He recently joined SFP and has a passion to help people. He encourages his clients to adopt a healthy life style and at the same time create wealth and health. Derick has completed Wealth Management NQF5 and is busy with Advanced Financial planning NQF6.

    Derick has two children and two grandchildren. He is an avid park runner.

  1. BIO

    Mandy was born in Middleburg and matriculated at Voortrekkerhoogte High School in Pretoria.  She studied Fine Arts at Pretoria Tech before entering the Motor Industry for 16 years where the focus was on sales.

    In 2008 Mandy decided to enter the financial services industry by joining Liberty as a Tied Agent. She decided to offer her clients a wider range of product choices and joined the SFP family in 2017.  Mandy has completed the RE exams and Wealth Management NQF5.

    Mandy is passionate about people and their well-being.  Her priority focus with her clients is to ensure their Estate Planning and Will is in place before anything else. In her spare time, she assists with fitness classes, loves animals, photography, crafts and baking.

  1. BIO

    Jimmy was born and bred in the Free State where he matriculated in 1984 at Welkom Gimnasium. After National Service he joined Anglo American Corporation where he studied Personnel Management and a career of 12 years followed. He joined the Financial Services Industry in 2000 when he joined Medscheme as a Broker Liaison Manager and continued to become an Executive Broker Consultant for Fedhealth.

    In 2014 Jimmy decided to spread his wings and become an Independent Broker Specialising in Medical Schemes and Gap cover. Whilst building his book he also studied part time completing his National Certificate Financial Planning (NQF5) in 2016. He joined BRISCH Wealth Managers on the 1 November 2017.

    Jimmy focuses on Personal Financial Planning and is the medical scheme specialist at BRISCH Wealth Manager. The Why in Jimmy’s life is to provide compassionate service and guide his clients in understanding and utilising their products most appropriately for their needs. The How is to explore and identify the client’s needs and the What is to offer tailor made solutions.

    Jimmy loves the outdoors, being on or close to the ocean. Apart from cycling and photography he is also a connoisseur of the Winelands produce.

  1. BIO

    Hennie matriculated at Paul Roos Gymnasium in Stellenbosch. He did a diploma in Financial Practise at the Cape Technicon and then went on to do Certificate in Wealth Management via Inseta. Hennie has also completed the RE exams.

    Early in his life he had a dream about being a professional Golfer and he went on to play and captain for Western Province and South Africa before he turned professional and competed internationally for 10 years as a member of the European and Sunshine Tours. A back injury stopped his golf career, he was approached to be the Director of Golf and General Manager at Pestovo Golf and Yacht club in Moscow Russia.  After two years he decided it was time to get a real job.

    Hennie has been in the financial services industry since 2009. He has previously worked at Liberty Life, Old Mutual and Efficient financial services.  In 2016 he joined Sanlam and subsequently in December 2017 decided to join the BRISCH family, which is still part of the bigger Sanlam Group.

    Hennie’s core strengths are risk business and structured insurance. Hennie builds very strong relationships with his clients and focusses on helping them achieve their financial goals. He makes a point of walking the extra mile with them.

    Hennie is married to Mariza and they have 2 children. In his spare time Hennie loves to spend time with his family, mountain biking, travelling and the outdoors. 

  1. BIO

    Louis matriculated in 1980 at Fort Beaufort High school in the Eastern Cape. After completing his compulsory military service, he studied at the Potchefstroom Teacher Training college. Louis decided to not enter the teaching profession and started working in the retail/wholesale industry in a management capacity. He also worked in the Financial sector with government pensions.  He was approached by CPS to become an Area Manager in the Transkei. Louis was later transferred to Cape Town where after he decided to become a financial adviser. Louis has been a financial adviser since 2014 previously working for Liberty and Old Mutual. He decided to join the BRISCH family in January 2018.

    Louis is passionate about addressing his client’s holistic needs and supporting them to achieve their financial goals.

    Louis is an avid sportsman and played rugby, tennis and golf on a provincial level.  These days he enjoys going to the gym and focusses on fitness and health.

    Louis is currently studying towards his Higher certificate in financial planning.

    Louis has 2 children. In his spare time, he enjoys planning and cooking healthy food to complement his gym routine as well as walking and playing on the beach with his dog.

  1. BIO

    Blackie was born in the Northern Cape and grew up in Welkom where he matriculated in 1973 at Welkom Gimnasium. He studied at Unisa and obtained his Higher Diploma in Marketing Management (Cum Laude).  Blackie has built up a wealth of experience in the Insurance and Financial services industry. From 1981 to 1999 he worked with Crop insurance, short term insurance, Life and medical aid in Ficksburg, Bloemfontein, Northern Cape and Douglas where he performed selling and or marketing roles.  

    In 1996 he joined Cape Agri as Insurance Admin Manager and later moved to Absa performing the role of Regional Manager of Life and Short Term Insurance.  In 2014 Blackie decided to retire from the Insurance world.  He decided to join the BRISCH family in April 2018 where his focus is on Short Term.

    Blackie is passionate about what he does and is well known for coaching and mentoring people to hone their skills.  Blackie also enjoys the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. Blackie also enjoys cooking up a storm, he enjoys bicycle riding, and hitting the long road on his motorbike.

  1. BIO

    Rene had a long and fruitful career at Absa Bank where she performed various leadership roles. At first she worked in Retail Bank as Regional Manager in the Western Cape then moved to Head Office performing National Head of Sales Support and Head of Direct Sales for Barclays Africa. She then joined the Absa Wealth and Investment division where she focused on forging relationships between the Bank and the Financial Services Business unit.

    Rene is passionate about enabling people and improving the world around her. Besides enabling sales she also has a keen sense of administrative efficiency.

    Rene left Absa during 2016 to start up BRISCH Administration which is linked to Brisch Wealth Managers where they perform administrative duties for Financial advisers.

    Rene has a partner Tana and twin boys who are both in strong relationships. She spends her spare time with her beloved dogs either training or attending dog shows. She also loves cooking and entertaining for friends and family.

  1. BIO

    Jean-Neil matriculated in 2008 at Strand High Scholl. Originally, Jean-Neil intended to become an Architect. However, after some time and practical experience decided that he would prefer to become a Financial Planner.

    He joined Sanlam as a trainee AFP in 2016. He completed is Wealth Management 1 and 2 qualifications through Sanlam and is currently busy with the last element towards accreditation. After that he intends to do his CFP.

    His qualifications and experience will give him the opportunity to provide clients with the best financial planning advice and assist them to work towards their financial freedom.

    Jean-Neil loves playing golf in his spare time and also enjoys exploring Cape Town and visiting wine farms with his partner.

BRISCH ADMINISTRATION TEAM

  1. BIO

    Izelle matriculated at Bellville High School in 2011 and completed her Bachelor of Accounting Degree at Stellenbosch University in 2014. She completed her Post Graduate Diploma in December 2017 in Applied Accounting at the University of South Africa and is currently awaiting the results.

    Izelle started her career in accounting and auditing at C2M Chartered Accountants Inc. in January 2015, where she completed her articles in November 2017. Her tenure, as financial manager, with the BRISCH team commenced in December 2017. Her dedication and determination will prove to be a great addition.

    Izelle is a humorous and loving individual who enjoys spending her time with friends and family. She is an unapologetic food and wine lover. She enjoys outdoor activities andenjoys to travel and experience foreign destinations and new cultures.

  1. BIO

    Leza joined Brisch Administration in February 2017. Her positive attitude, cheerful personality, strong administrative skills and conscientiousness make her the perfect fit for her role of Receptionist and Administrative Assistant for the BRISCH Financial Planners.

    Leza gained valuable experience while working as Adviser assistant at National Finance Brokers in Port Elizabeth from 1994 – 2000. She then moved to Cape Town and joined Jacques Malan Consultants & Actuaries from 2001 – 2012. Thereafter, she relocated to Johannesburg to join the finance team at NMG Consultants & Actuaries from 2013 – 2016.

    In her spare time Leza loves socialising, enjoys cooking with a glass of wine at hand and spending time in the company of animals.

  1. BIO

    Elsanne was born and raised in a small town, Nababeep in Namaqualand. She matriculated in 1994 and then went on to study Catering Entrepreneurship at Northlink College in 1995.

    She moved to Cape Town in 2003 and completed a 2-year part-time course and obtained a Certificate in Executive Personal Assistant 2008 – 2010. Afterwards she joined Sanlam in 2016 and since then worked as Administrator for various financial advisers. Elsanne left Sanlam BlueStar and decided to join the BRISCH family in July 2018.

    In her spare time, Elsanne enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter or socialising with friends. She also loves to cook and is a huge animal lover.

  1. BIO

    Elesha matriculated at President Secondary School in 2005. She started working as Branch Manageress at a gallery from 2006 – 2008 after which she decided to pursue a career in a more administrative field.

    She completed her Diploma in Business Computing (INTEC College) in 2009 and worked for a small Financial Services Provider as a Personal Assistant from 2013 – 2018, performing a wide range of administrative duties.

    She then decided she is up for the challenge to apply for the job as BRISCH’s new Medical Aid Administrator. Her tenure at BRISCH started in January 2019.

    Elesha values maintaining healthy relationships with people and spends her spare time socialising with family and friends.  Her hobbies include jogging, hitting golf balls on the driving range and dressmaking.

  1. BIO

    Du Toit is a Chartered Accountant who started his career doing articles with KPMG in Johannesburg in 1991. Senior financial roles followed at Eskom (1994) and Omnia Fertilizers (1995) while also completing an M Comm (Business Management) at the Rand Afrikaans University. Du Toit then joined Verimark as financial director in 2001, and played a key role in listing the company on the JSE in 2005. A move back to the Cape followed in 2007 as Head of Finance for Clicks.

    Having paid his dues in the corporate world, Du Toit decided to enter the entrepreneurial world of private business in 2012. He is currently involved with Zone Fitness (owns and operates 22 gyms nationally), Rosendal Winery (boutique winery from the Robertson region), BRISCH Wealth Managers and BRISCH Administration Services.

    Du Toit is married to Ilanza and has 2 children Karla and Werner. He is an avid golfer, wine lover and enjoys various forms of outdoors activities.

  1. BIO

    Louis matriculated at Hoër Seunskool Helpmekaar in Johannesburg in 1979 and studied B.Comm at Potchefstroom University. He obtained his Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning (CFP) in 2007.

    Louis started his career in the Insurance Industry at Old Mutual. Following this he joined ABSA as Regional Manager Absa Life in 1989 and was promoted to perform the role as national Head of Distribution from 1991 to 1999. He then moved to, what was then called, Absa Brokers as Head Bond Brokers. In 2004, Louis was appointed and transferred to Cape Town in the position of General Manager Absa Insurance and Financial Advisers Western Cape. Embarking on a new journey, Louis left Absa Insurance and Financial Advisers during 2016 to start BRISCH Wealth Managers as part of the Succession Financial Planning family.

    Louis is married to Maureen and has two sons and three daughters. In his free time he enjoys cycling, squash and bird watching.
