Louis Schlebusch

Managing Director

A Johannesburg native, Louis Schlebusch holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning (CFP) from the University of the Free State and completed a strategy programme at Oxford’s SAID Business School. With over 37 years’ experience, his career spans roles as Financial Planner, General Manager at Absa Insurance, and now National Manager: Broker Support Centre at Succession Financial Planning. Louis is known for strategic thinking, relationship-building, and his ability to translate innovative ideas into effective operations. His top CliftonStrengths include Achiever, Ideation, and Connectedness, which drive his leadership style. He and his team provide critical support to financial advisers across all areas of client service. Integrity and trust guide his work, and he thrives on initiatives that create broader community and business impact. Louis enjoys reading, cycling, sport, and birdwatching. He is married with five children, and remains passionate about developing meaningful, value-driven financial services.

IZELLE DU PLESSIS

Financial Manager

Raised in Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs, Izelle Du Plessis is a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and registered Tax Practitioner. She earned her B.Acc degree from Stellenbosch University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Accounting Sciences from UNISA. Izelle completed her articles at a medium-sized firm and joined BRISCH in 2017. In 2020, she expanded her professional scope by founding her own accounting firm. As Financial Manager at BRISCH, she oversees all financial operations, system development, and compliance. Known for her strong understanding of tax legislation and financial technology, Izelle brings analytical precision and strategic foresight to her work. Her dual experience in corporate and entrepreneurial environments gives her a unique edge in managing finances with both structure and flexibility. She is committed to operational excellence and contributes to BRISCH’s growth through sound financial stewardship and innovation.

Hylton Clementson

Head of Training and Development

Born and raised in Cape Town, Hylton Clementson brings a people-focused approach to his role at BRISCH. With three years’ experience in the financial services industry, he began as a Practice Manager for an SFP broker before working as a Financial Planner at Sanlam. These roles gave him both operational and frontline insights, which now inform his leadership in training and development. At BRISCH, Hylton identifies business training needs, delivers tailored programmes, and ensures systems and processes support staff and advisers effectively. Known for his integrity, problem-solving ability, and commitment to collaboration, Hylton leads by example. He prioritises fairness and clarity in all interactions, creating solutions that benefit clients and colleagues alike. Married since 2008 and a dedicated family man, Hylton enjoys nature, technology, and lifelong learning. His motivation stems from helping others grow, improving business processes, and contributing to a values-driven company culture.

Carina de Necker

Operations Manager

Originally from Pietermaritzburg and now based in Cape Town, Carina de Necker holds a Diploma in Office Management from Tygerberg College. She began her career in financial services in 2021 when she joined BRISCH and has since risen to the role of Operations Manager. Carina leads internal systems and team performance, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and data delivery to leadership. She’s known for her methodical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and steady leadership. Carina focuses on building structured, scalable processes that empower advisers to focus on client service. Her work behind the scenes ensures operational excellence, compliance, and efficiency. A wife and mother of two, Carina enjoys outdoor activities like hunting and fishing with her family. She is guided by the principles of accountability, consistency, and integrity — both professionally and personally. Passionate about continuous improvement, she believes that success comes from teamwork, purpose-driven leadership, and turning obstacles into opportunities.

Nadine Wagenaar

Communication Specialist

Nadine, a seasoned Communications Manager, brings a unique blend of research expertise and strategic insight to the role. With a strong foundation in psychology and sociology, she crafts clear and impactful messaging that resonates with diverse audiences. Her background in research and analytics—spanning sectors such as healthcare, finance and education—equips her to translate complex information into compelling, accessible communication strategies that support organisational goals.

Adept at content creation, stakeholder engagement, and narrative development, Nadine leverages her deep understanding of human behaviour and social dynamics to drive meaningful connection and brand alignment. She holds an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Johannesburg and a Master’s degree in Sociology, with a focus on gender and identity, which grounds her work in empathy, inclusivity, and strategic thinking.

Corné Scheepers

Office Manager

Corné Scheepers, born in Newcastle and raised in Mkondo, Mpumalanga, brings over 21 years of experience in the insurance industry to her role as Office Manager at BRISCH. With qualifications in insurance, regulatory compliance, and human resource management, she has held diverse roles ranging from Broker Consultant to Executive Assistant and Internal Marketing Manager. Corné is known for her loyalty, dependability, and structured approach, and she is passionate about creating a supportive, efficient work environment that enhances employee experience. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, cycling, and reading, and is driven by a deep commitment to helping others and continuously growing both personally and professionally.
